Boaters need to be so careful when launching and retrieving from the trailer. This Atomix centre console boat looks to have made contact with the trailer and shattered the hull skin in an area on the keel. You need to consider that the entire weight of a boat is coming down on the trailer or something hard, with no give the hull can be easily damaged. When grinding this area back it became a sizable repair. The skin was rebuilt using glass and epoxy and refinished to match the hull. While the boat was up on stands we acid washed the hull and gave it a good polish. This boat is now ready for use again!
