This customer asked if we could fit a new windscreen to this little Caribbean that he was refurbishing. We suggested an epoxy  composite frame with tinted acrylic bonded to the front. As an improvement to the old style alloy framed method, this design not only looked better and more modern but was much stronger and more rigid. Glazing tape combined with special sealant bonds the windscreen panels permanently to the frame. The balsa core and epoxy frame is light and strong and fixed securely to the moulded coaming on the boat.
