There’s nothing worse than a leaking boat! These deck hatches on this Seawind catamaran were long overdue for replacement and we were asked to remove the old ones and drop in some new versions. The only issue anyone would know is that things go out of date and finding an identical hatch was virtually impossible, so we sourced the closest possible size. There were 4 hatches to be replaced, 2 small ones on the upper deck and 2 larger ones on the foredeck. The smaller hatches came straight out but the front hatches needed to be cut into sections to remove  and were very difficult to remove without damaging the fiberglass flange. Once the openings were re cut to the new sizes, the new hatches could be fitted.

This boat owner is one of our repeat customers, and a few years back we fitted a new foam/epoxy hardtop over the outdoor seating area. This has now had the clears fitted and is still looking good.
