The owner of this Savage had only just bought the boat and asked for a thorough check over. The keel line had a lot of wear and tear damage into the fiberglass hull and needed re-gelcoating. We checked the transom which appeared sound however there were some holes and random screws from old fittings that […]
This Tournament 1900 had an altercation with the corner of a marina jetty. Luckily the damage was above the water avoiding any water ingress into the vessel. The crack was a through and through and of a decent size. Fortunately access to the inside of the damage was possible so this could be repaired also. […]
Black is always the most difficult colour to repair. Although it seems to be a very common colour for late model Jetski’s and we have done many over the years. From full resprays, partial resprays and spot repairs. Note the one in earlier post just last month. This Ski had deep hull damage near the […]
Black is always the most difficult colour to repair. This Jetski had a small chip on the corner of the topsides which was filled and primed for final gloss finish. With it blended and polished in the repair disappeared.
This Malibu Response wake-board boat had some gelcoat damage on the underside of the hull. To do this properly the boat was lifted off its trailer onto work stands. First the underside repairs were done and then it was returned to its trailer where we detailed and polished the topsides. With all the work done […]
This 6m Cruise Craft was in like-new condition however the keel forefoot had caught on something and created some nasty damage. A strip about a meter long had been flattened off requiring glassing to build back up. We suggested a ‘Keel-guard’ strip be applied over this area to protect this area from future damage. Although […]
The wrong propeller caused pitting in the gelcoat above the rudder!! It’s quite amazing what water pressure can do to a fiberglass hull when harmonics are concerned. In this case the wrong prop was fitted to this Spy ski boat which ate into the glass in two distinct areas. To repair these areas, the hollows […]
A quick side job with this deck hatch that had rotted plywood reinforcement strips around the edge. We removed the affected material and replaced it. It was then glassed over with epoxy to seal the material in. Externally we re-finished the gelcoat which was badly weathered.
