This Formosa is getting a well earned facelift as well as new enclosed cabin with new windscreen package. The alloy fabrication work had already been done and the owner asked us to paint the new cab which turned into repainting the entire cab, the side decks and the hull sides. He’s going for a black and white colour scheme with black windscreen, hull sides and new black carpet, while keeping the cab and decks in white. Note the photo below test fitting one of the new side sliding windows. As with most alloy boats the corrosion spots are everywhere, so all these are prepped and treated. Where the new part of the cab joins to the original we filled and faired this to blend seamlessly. We are part way through this project and will keep you updated as it progresses.
