The galley on this yacht was in serious need of an upgrade. The old single sink was leaking and the waste was blocking because it was too small. We also fitted a new mixer tap which was 3 way tap with a filter system built in. The job involved fitting the double sinks and modifying the bench and shelf below to suit. We chose bar style sinks which have 50mm domestic sized drains with grates to catch any solids to avoid blockages. Once the benchtop was modified, new laminex was installed. The teak edge trim around the bench was stripped back and re-varnished to make it waterproof being so close to the sinks. We also gave the small locker behind the sinks an upgrade by enlaging it with a matching lid.
