This V19R had been recently modified and fitted with a wave breaker. The owner has been using it but noticed that the new helm bulkhead was breaking away from the floor. Also the tow fitting was loose with the backing pad rotted out. He also asked for the front keel line to be repaired as it was badly worn. While it was in we found some other areas that needed work. When the boat was on the stands we could fully asses the keel and found that it was worn all the way through the skin with signs of the new work inside dripping through. We decided to rebuild this area with epoxy and glass fabric to ensure it was back to original strength. There were also other damaged areas further back on the underside that were repaired. The owner also asked for us to fit pads for the wiring to fix to inside the side pockets and repaint these areas. With all the work matched in, the boat was ready for the high seas once again!
