This is the second bonnet repair for this hire company. The first job we did was on a much larger Terex truck bonnet however this one is a smaller vehicle. As we did with the first job we had to rebuild the structure where the collision occurred. There were also several past repairs required as well as poor sanding from the previous paint job. To do the entire bonnet all areas were attended to and the outside was faired, primed and resprayed colour-matched to the original colour. The inside was also refinished to suit and the metal front grill plate was reinstalled. Just another example of what can be done using composites, the bonnet looked better than new when it left.
