A resort had a number rooms with problems such as this. The spas were quite a few years old and the steel reinforcement was rusting and breaking the composite liner. The rusted steel needed to be cut out and removed and then the repair was laid up with glass to build back again. The finish is colour matched gelcoat. We have now done dozens of rooms restoring the old spas. This saves a huge expense if the spas were replaced.
