Hardstands, Haul-Out Yards & Slipways

For the larger vessels that are not trailerable, the solution is to lift the boat out onto the hard stand and carry out the work on hard level ground. We work with a number of haul-out yards and slipways to best suit the work required. For a quick turn-around a slipway is a good option for an annual antifoul however for a major re-fit the hardstand option is ideal. Part of the process is to pressure clean the hull removing most of the growth from the hull bottom.

In most cases the hardstand fees are relatively low cost and suit long hard stand periods. This way major works can be carried out without any time pressures.

Marinas

If the boat is on a marina and requires work we work with a number of local marinas to undertake work on the vessel while in its berth. Unfortunately there are limits to what work can be done on a marina and this varies from marina to marina. However usually small external repairs and jobs are possible as well as any fit-out work internally.
