This is what the bow of a Jetski looks like when hitting a large mangrove tree at high speeds. Luckily the owner sourced a second piece of hull of the same model which could be used to replace the damaged section. The process was to mark out the extent of the repair and then template this piece after which we marked out the same shape onto the second hull skin. This piece was then fitted into the hull and glassed in place using epoxy. The area was then faired and refinished to match the hull colour. After polishing in the repair the hull looked original again.
