We were asked to do more work on this boat, the owner bought a new galley sink and mixer tap, with also new matching taps and shower fittings for the two heads in the boat. To fit the new galley sink we removed the old fittings and were required to rebuild part of the galley bench to suit the different sized sink. We epoxy glued in and coated the fill-in pieces to make them nice and strong, and then filled and faired these down level with the original benchtop. The owner had some material that they would apply to the benchtop to tidy up the cosmetics. Most of the other plumbing fittings fitted up without any modification. With all the new fittings installed the transformation was dramatic. We were also asked to replace the drop-down table leg below the dinette table which dropped down to create an extra bed. The old leg was designed to penetrate through the floor however was not stable or secure. We fitted a quality 2 stage gas assisted telescopic leg which was strong and stable.
