Fiberglass and gelcoat repairs apply to many different areas of the market including the RV and caravan market. We have done work on many RV vehicles such as caravans, camper trailers, poptops and of course motorhomes, if they’re made of fiberglass we can do them. This motorhome had rounded ‘wings’ in the fiberglass back behind the cab doors which had been damaged over the years by various collisions. Being the widest part at the front of the vehicle these had extensive cracks and stone chips. Another large area of this vehicle was the angled front of the fiberglass back which ran to the top of the front windscreen. This area had several areas of damage which had been badly repaired with a spray can of paint and was peeling and looked unsightly. This entire front and sides were repainted and blended. The ‘wings’ behind the doors were also repaired and painted to match the metallic green colour. Other work included another large repair on the fiberglass back on the passenger side which we refinished, various repairs in the metallic green which included, part of the front grill, an alloy strip at the bottom of the fiberglass back and a couple of side doors that were peeling. To finish the job off the owner asked us to reseal the top of the windscreen with sealant which for some reason had been left as an open gap. With everything polished up this old girl looked the part once again!
