Following on from a previous post on this project, this net boat had a full internal hull rebuild including a hull extension with engine pod, new cabin and raised gunnels. Its now been completed and includes a built-in recessed battery box in front of the engine. The raising of the gunnel height was decided when the owners visited and found that because the wet-deck had been raised to become self-draining, the gunnel height was too low. To keep this looking in-keeping with the style of the boat we continued the raised gunnel section at the same angle as the new cabin sides. To finish the top edge and make it practical when using the nets, a large poly pipe was glassed into the top of it creating a smooth edge for the nets to run over. Once all flowcoated and painted, we lifted the boat onto stands and re-antifouled the hull.
