Work boats take on a different role in boating, this is not a play thing but a means to make a living. This net boat had been lying derelict for some time but the solid glass hull was still sound so the owners asked for a full hull rebuild with new stringers, bulkheads and floor. The original floor height was not self-draining and the owners requested this raised with scuppers out through the transom. In addition it was requested to extend the hull out and incorporate an engine pod and also build a new cuddy cabin over the bow. All work was carried out using composite board and epoxy, our usual and preferred materials. We are coming up to the cosmetics left and will update you with another post when this job rolls out after completion.
