This catamaran was blown ashore in a severe storm and had its hulls holed and the keels broken off. The hull repairs were extensive with hull laminate and foam core replaced in areas. Following the repairs the entire surface below the water was sheathed with epoxy and 2 layers of double-bias cloth. The keels were re-made, fitted and glassed. The layers of glass were laid over the keels and lapped in stepped amounts onto the hull. Once the hulls and keels were structurally repaired, all surfaces were filled and faired. Also damaged in the storm grounding was the rudders which needed re-building and and re-shaping.
