This pretty tidy Protege ski boat needed a little TLC, the owner asked us to lift the boat onto work stands and give the underwater section a good going over. There was a nasty scratch on the bow, a few chips along the keel line, some damage to the Port aft spray rail and we also found that the trailer skids had created some damage to the hull. The owner took the trailer away to pad the skids and other areas that were causing damage to prevent this happening again. While the boat was on the stands we acid washed and polished the hull from the gunnel down. There were also some old transducer holes that we repaired on the transom. He also asked for the old foam decking pads to be replaced on the back steps and decks, with a new piece fitted to the foredeck with the ‘Protege’ emblem machined into it. He chose a black on grey colour scheme which matched in the boat and really looked the part. With all the work done the boat looked awesome and ready for many more days on the water!!
