The owner of this older Quintrex half cab had customized the cabin and other parts of the boat and asked us to respray the boat. Starting as a simple blast, prime and paint job this project became a bit more involved. The entire boat was sandblasted back to bare metal inside and out except for the hull bottom. Once primed it was clear to see certain areas were very unfair and would look unsightly if painted in high gloss. The owner requested the cabin sides and the helm bulkhead be filled and faired to straighten these areas up. There were also a lot of small areas that were pitted and repaired that we decided to fill and fair as well. At this stage the owner also asked for some grey feature panels which included the hull sides, the deck handrails and the back cabin handrails and top rocket launchers. Once these were done the finishing touch was a light grey nonskid on deck. All in all the boat has been transformed into a much more modern and new looking boat.
