The owner of this Savage had only just bought the boat and asked for a thorough check over. The keel line had a lot of wear and tear damage into the fiberglass hull and needed re-gelcoating. We checked the transom which appeared sound however there were some holes and random screws from old fittings that needed to be removed and filled. Also on the transom, the transducerĀ was loaded up with silicone and needed re mounting. There were also several gelcoat repairs needing attention on the topsides. We removed the gunnel rubber end caps which were old folded metal fittings that were not attractive. These were replaced with white PVC plastic end caps which looked much more finished. We were asked to fit a couple of rod holders and do some cosmetic work inside. While the boat was on our work stands the owner refurbished the trailer which looked almost brand new.
