This Skeeter bass boat was booked in to have a hull repair done on the underside after hitting something while underway. The owner also asked for some U-deck fitted to the floor and other parts with the Skeeter name machined in. While the hull repairs were underway the owner also asked for some polishing of the deck edges to be done which had lost their gloss. The U-deck replaced the old carpet which was very worn. What we discovered was an array of screws below the carpet which needed counter sinking flush with the floor. There was also a couple of aft drains which needed filling in the floor section for the U-deck to be fitted to so there was something solid to glue to. The other decking pads fitted was a small piece near the trolling motor, a couple of treads in front of the helm pods and a couple of foot rests forward of the floor. With all the work done the boat came up a treat!
