One downside of aluminium boats is the risk of corrosion. This Stacer tinnie looked pretty good below gunnel however above this were widespread areas of corrosion bubbling the paint. The owner had started the task of stripping and sanding the top deck and parts of the console and back seat. We took over and etch primed the bare metal spots after which coated it with a 2 pack epoxy primer. After prepping this, the decks, console and other repairs were repainted in a hardtop polyurethane for maximum durability and protection. With some careful masking and blending you wouldn’t have known this work had been done, and the boat looked virtually brand new again!
