Another floor replacement, this one was the full floor with much more going on, it has the raised casting deck with multiple hatches and seat bases. The old boards were all warped and twisted and were rotted in places. Because we had two floors in the same week we could run the two jobs together. We stripped out the old boards and cut new pieces using marine plywood, we followed the same process as the other job where the new boards were epoxy primed to seal before covering with new carpet. Something that came up was the fact that the old carpet was much thinner and affected all the gaps so we needed to resize all parts allowing for the newer thicker carpet. Once all covered with carpet the new boards were refitted and all the fittings re installed. This job was all done for the Easter weekend where the owners were planning some time out on the water!
