The owner of this Haines wondered why the tow fitting kept protruding through the hull. When he brought it to us it was discovered that the reinforcement internal mounting block was rotten and the fitting was pulling through it. We were able to remove the old material and glue in the new material and re-glass the face. In the photo below you can see how the original skin was glued back in place. The holes were re drilled and treated with epoxy to seal the exposed timber.
