Occasionally we get a project that takes you back to your roots! You don’t see too many of these traditional projects anymore. This one came to us as an unfinished owner builder project and we were asked to finish it off. The first task was to finish off the hull underside so we turned the boat over and sat it on the trailer. We then prepped the hull and strakes and glassed the hull. After this the skeg was made and glassed on. Then we applied fairing compound to the hull and faired the hull for priming. The transom was made using Mahogany clear finish timber so this was sanded back and coated in clear epoxy. Once the hull bottom was primed all surfaces were blocked down for final paint. We will keep everyone informed as we progress with this project.
