We get our fair share of interesting projects come through the door, this one is something unique. We were asked to build a model ship for the purpose of Navy training, but not just any style, it needed to resemble a particular Navy ship design. The customer did the initial design and we then modeled this in cad to create a computer-cut kit to speed up the build time. Once we received the kit cut from Coosa composite board the build speed has been very rapid with fast progress. Because this vessel is purpose designed for training Navy personnel every aspect of the vessel needs to meet this criteria.  We are working very closely with the customer to ensure this is achieved. There have been a few adjustments along the way but overall the project is tracking well for completion in the new year. The vessel will be powered with twin electric engines and is fitted with three rudders. We will keep everyone updated as this project progresses.
