This Whittley is a boat we worked on awhile ago when we replaced both main hull stringers. The owner was planning on finishing the work himself as this was a long term project but never got to it. The next stage he wanted us to work on was a custom in-built bait tank positioned in an unfinished area near the transom. Part of this project was the addition of an alloy engine pod which changed the design of the transom area. The new bait tank was built in place and then removedĀ for glassing. The tank was glassed inside and out and then installed into boat. Some custom trims finished off the look of the installation. The tank had all the plumbing fittings pre-fitted and then flowcoated. We made a recessed flush fitting lid to finish off the tank with hinging along the back edge. This is as far as the owner wanted us to go as he planned to finish the job himself. Other jobs on the boat were to glass the forward bunks to the hull where there was damage, and also create supports for the cabin sole.
