Windscreens are an important part of a trailer boat but they only have a limited life span. This windscreen is off a Nipper 525 we refurbished last year and after tidying up the boat it showed up the condition of the old windscreen. The owner asked to get it refurbished which involved disassembling it and repairing, priming and painting the frame, cutting new acrylic panels and putting it all back together again. This is a time consuming little job but the result as you can see was well worth it. To modernize the look of the screen we chose dark grey tinted acrylic to go with the newly gloss black painted frame. A new windscreen can be uneconomical so this is an option to consider.
