If its fiberglass we can fix it! We have done plenty of work on RV vehicles, from caravans to motorhomes and campers. This camper had a few cracks showing up that needed to be repaired. The main one was near the hydraulic lifting point which folds the camper up. We improved the strength here by inserting a piece of composite board shaped to suit and then glassed to reinforce further. Related to this lifting arm was the two bolts on the opposite end that secured the beam to the camper floor. This had cracked the fiberglass, so we cut into the shelf above this area to access the bolts, and once repaired we bolted it back together with an alloy backing plate to spread the load. Another issue was that the side door hinge had let go on one end and the door wouldn’t close properly. We removed the door and the hinge to discover a defect in the fiberglass skin which had allowed the hinge to drop. We repaired the defect with epoxy and added extra screws to add strength to the hinge. We repaired a small scratch on the back door while we were at it and the camper was ready to go again!
